ACA Skills Assessment Courses
The ACA Skills Assessment course is a recommended prerequisite for students who are interested in becoming American Canoe Association Certified Instructors. ACA Skills Assessment Courses evaluate a paddler’s current skillset. The ACA Skills Assessment also provides students with an ACA credentialed proof of skill for staff of organizations facilitating any type of guiding on water (flatwater or moving water venues). Zoar Outdoor strongly recommends that those seeking to participate in an ACA Instructor Certification course take an ACA Skills Assessment course at the level of certification they seek to acquire. ACA Skills Assessment Courses are facilitated by any ACA Certified Instructor of the corresponding level.
