River Information

We’re lucky to have such wonderful rivers to paddle and enjoy here in the northeast. At Zoar Outdoor, the Deerfield River provides reliable water throughout the summer for our river programs.

With many scheduled recreational releases from the dams, as well as regular unscheduled releases throughout the year, the Deerfield is a great river for anyone looking to enjoy a day out on the water.

With the Millers River running nearby in the spring, and many other local rivers running on a more rain-dependent basis, we have a wealth of water resources around us. Check out some of the pages below to learn more about the Deerfield River, the Millers River, or to find other resources for paddling in the northeast. And if you’re planning a day out on the river on your own, remember to check the water levels and release times before heading out.
